Enhancing Google Built-in GPS?

I recently switched from a Twingo ZE to a Renault Megane (e tech) and miss some features, particularly the GPS. Google Maps often takes me on unnecessary detours. Also, I can't add favorite addresses for friends and family. Additionally, the Twingo's GPS displayed nearby charging stations, which I found incredibly useful. Has anyone successfully installed an alternative GPS on the Google Built-in system?

No need for aftermarket GPS! Your Megane E-Tech has some good built-in options:

Waze Integration: Newer Megane E-Techs have Waze integrated into the OpenR Link system. Offers real-time traffic and avoids detours.
Renault Navigation: While not Google Maps, the built-in Renault navigation might be better optimized for your car (charging stations etc.).
My Renault App: Lets you find charging stations and send destinations to your car's navigation.
Give these built-in features a try before looking for alternatives!
