DAEMON Tools - a compact but powerful CD / DVD-drive emulator - allows you to emulate absolutely any disk image made by the utility for copying discs (for example, CloneCD). Similarly, you can “paste” audio-CDs or DVDs copied onto the hard drive into this emulator. The program works through the menu in the system tray, with which you get access to all commands. Here you can select the number of added virtual drives, images to mount on each of them.
To designate each drive, you can choose any letter of the English alphabet that is not yet used. Also for each virtual device can be set its own regional code. It is worth noting that the connection and disconnection of virtual drives occur almost instantly and without the need for a reboot. The program features can be expanded with the help of additional modules that are produced in large quantities by third-party developers.
