Cummins Insite 8.7.0.86 Install Instructions.txt
As of June 1st 2022, I can confirm this install via "Simulator Mode" can read, and overwrite READ ONLY parameters on a CM2350 block/ECM in a KW.
Cummins insite 8.7 install instructions:
1- Locate "1. Insite 8.7.0.86 Install Files" Folder, Open and <Right Click> + [Run As Admin] on "setup_8.7.0.86.exe"
1a- Run insite installer file, reboot if necesary.
2- Run update manager:
**allow update manager to close and update itself 6 or 7 times.**
--- UPDATE UNTIL THE FOLLOWING, THEN UPDATE THE FOLLOWING: ---
-until version 8.7.0.86
-fault view 3.1
-FIS files
-DPF Regen Analyzer
-Sulphur Tolerance monitor 1.0.5.3
**************DO NOT UPDATE TO 8.8!!!*****************
3- Close Update manager
4- Run Insite from desktop shortcut, [Accept] Terms & Conditions, Choose [Simulator Mode]
4a- Once open, <Left Click> on [Help] tab on top toolbar, choose [About INSITE],
4b- Verify 8.7.0.86 shows as current installed version.
5- Close Program > "Are you sure?' > [Yes]
6- Navigate to within "2. Crack Launcher" folder, Open it up, and Locate the Folder "CUMMINS INSITE 8.7 PRO" & <Right Click> + [Copy] that folder.
7- Open a new File explorer window, and navigate to " C:\Intelect ", Open the "Intelect" folder, and <Right Click> + [Paste] "CUMMINS INSITE 8.7 PRO"
folder into there.
8- Open "CUMMINS INSITE 8.7 PRO", and <Right Click> + [Run as admin].
***A new widnow will open, there will be 2 boxes, one with an Alpha-numeric code (8 x 4 digit/character combos), and 1 empty***
8a- Highlight the generated Combo Code in the top box, and <Right Click> + [Copy].
****LEAVE THIS WINDOW OPEN, YOU WILL NEED IT AGAIN!****
9- Press <Windows key> + <R>, and type in " Notepad "
10- In the newly opened Notepad window, <Right Click> + [Paste] the code into there.
11- Return to "C\Intelect\CUMMINS INSITE 8.7 PRO", find "CUMMINS INSITE 8.7 PRO.EXE", and <Right Click> + [Send to...], Choose [Desktop - Crete Shortcut]
12- Go to Desktop screen, and find newly created shortcut. <Right Click> + [Rename] and rename it to: "Insite 8.7 Pro",
12a- Locate Original/OEM " Cummins Insite " Icon, and <Right Click> + [DELETE]
****We dont want to confuse that one with the CRACKED one....****
13- Navigate to "3. KM 4 KG", and open it up to find "keymaker for Insite 8.7 keygen". <Right Click> + [Run as admin]
*a new window opens*
14- in the top section (should say " ???: " beside it), <Right Click> + [Paste] the combo from {Step 8a}
***There are 2 buttons on the bottom of this window, [ ????? ](5 x ?s) on the left, and [ ???? ] (4 x ?s) on the right.
14a- <Left Click> on the Left button [ ????? ], This will generate a code into the large box labelled "???:".
15- Move Mouse over the large combo, and rapidly hit <Left Click> 3 times, for good measure press <Ctrl key> + < A > to select all. <Right Click> + [COPY]
***Close this window***
16- Navigate to "4. KG" folder, open it, and find "Cummins 8.7 keygen.exe", <Right Click> + [Run as Admin]
***A new window opens***
16a- In the large empty Box, <Right Click> + [Paste] the code copied from {Step 15}, <Left Click> on the button [ ? ? ] on the bottom right of that window
***That Window Will close***
***A new window pops up***
16a- <Left Click> on [OK]
17- Return to temporary notepad file we created in {step 9}, and highlight the code from {Step 10}, <Right Click> + [COPY].
17a- Return to the new window opened up from {Step 16a}, and locate the top section. <Right Click> + [Paste] into there.
17b- <Left Click> on the LEFT button [ ????? ], a new code will generate into box #2,
17c- <Left Click x3> on the numbers in the second box, then <CTRL key> + < A > to select all, <Right Click> + [COPY]
18- Go to ORIGINAL Crack window (The one i said to leave open) from {Step 8}, and <Right Click> + [PASTE] into the second/larger box. <Left Click> [ ? ? ].
***A new window appears***
18b- Close the window from {Step 17}
18c- <Left Click> on [ OK ]
***a new window appears***
18d- <Left Click> on [ START ]
***Insite Starts to load***
19- If Prompted, Select [ Simulator Mode ]
20- Enjoy the program! Try not to CUMMINS her too hard.. XD
**If you didnt laugh, you need some INSITE into dry humour....XD

* The First Time you boot up, you shouldnt need to choose simulator mode, or activate license etc. but after a reboot or a new day or 2
* You will have to load up insite one time, choose simulator mode, close insite, and then reload it, it will bypass the license selection screen.
* At This point You can install any drivers you want for Insite useage, Nexiq, Inline, Cat Comm, whatever you are going to be using
* On My PERSONAL install of this, i use the firewall manager and create and INBOUND and OUTBOUND rule blocking " C:\Program Files (x86)\Cummins INC\UpdateManager\UpdateManager.exe "
* Additionally, I have been told if you run the program via "Activate License" prompt, itll mess up this install. I havent tested it, but its seems Plausible, so maybe, dont do that? <<<<<
