The Adapter Validation Tool is designed to ensure that the INLINE 6 is installed and connected properly. This tool can be used to verify the adapter software installation, the proper set up of the hardware, and to determine which data links are active. Additionally, the Adapter Validation Tool can be used to turn the INLINE 6 adapter into a powerful tool with which one can monitor the data link. It monitors both CAN channels and the J1708 channel simultaneously. The Data Link logging feature of the AVT logs all messages* from the data links in a file which is easy to understand.
