A new card for VW RNS 850 assembled on the basis of the Audi MMI 3GP card for 2021/2022.
These are rebuilt MMI3GP maps from Audi for installation in the RNS850. Because all maps from MMI3GP are almost 100% functional on the RNS850.
Advantage: This map set currently has more up-to-date map data compared to the latest official version of the original VW maps.

Information: Maps are installed on RNS 850 with firmware version HN + _EU_VW_P0824 in "User" update mode with forced indication of updating all components.

Radio Navigation System 850 (RNS850); Volkswagen Touareg NF, FL; 2010 - 2018
Installation:
1. Copy the contents (ie Directories: pkgdb, VW, MMI3GP and build1, config.nfm, DBInfo.txt and metainfo2.txt) to the root directory of a 32 GB SD memory card formatted to FAT32.
2. Insert the card into SD slot # 1 on the RNS850, which is located in the glove compartment.
3. Start the "Development" menu in the RNS by simultaneously pressing the "Set + Phone" buttons. In this menu, select "Update" and in the "Software update" pop-up window, select the SD card 1 update source.
4. In the next window, select the "User" update method. Install all updated components in the "D" folder and click the "Start Download" button.
5. Next, in the "Do not interrupt the update" warning window, click the "Start" button.
6. After 1 hour and 20 minutes, the update is completed by displaying the "Software update" window. If the update is successful, the "Repeat" button will be inactive at the top of the window, below which the "Next" button will be active.
7. Press the "Next" button to get the message in the window: "Tester start function: update of the main unit / version. Accepting the error code leads to a restart. ”This is normal.
8. Restart the RNS by pressing the "Cancel documentation" button. That's all, RNS went to restart and shut down, the map update is done. We remove the memory card with updates from the 1st RNS slot.
9. Press the "Settings" button to enter the "Settings" menu. Next, be sure to click on "System / System" and "Version Information."
Warning: Any reprogramming (updating) of the system can damage the individual electronic components of the car, therefore you perform all work only at your own risk.
