Install:
Do this IF you have read problems(not all rns has this problem)
It is getting more and more difficult to install the new software updates because the DVD drives can hardly read the DVDs anymore. With a cleaning CD you can sometimes read them again. Or remove and cleaned DVD drive.
DL DVD's (ie original VW map update) If the laser at the RNS 510 has a small dust or dirt layer on it, then it will be hard to read the disc
So I can only advise EVERYONE to buy a cleaning CD / DVD to clean the RNS510. You'd rather throw the money out the window right away
It is very important, among other things, the burning speed that you burned there with max 2.4x.
What is your slowest speed?
You can see that in the burning log, at what speed it was actually burned. The settings on the ImgBurn are not very meaningful,
so that, for example, you can set 2x on the ImgBurn, but the burner can actually only burn with a minimum of 6x, if you understand what I mean.
It is best if you can find older dvd burner to burn slow...
And if you don't get the problem solved, you can use the Mapstool if you don't have a 6xxx FW version.
